Charging the battery?

How do i get the battery to charge? i have got to the church swamp without charging it once, but now i need to use the nvg and they dont work.... presumably becuse my battery is flat (my torch has always been dim)

I thought you had to push your flashlight button (mouse button 4 in my case) then LMB several times to charge, but this does nothing

I tried resetting the controlls but still nothing. what am i missing?

remapped the key back to F
and i can get it to work on my keyboard.
doesnt work however when mapped to a mouse button on my logitech performance mx or when mapped to a button on my logitech G13 gaming keyboard.... all the other functions do however....even the ones where you have to hold a button.... wierd!

The logitech applet is bust atm.

I have no idea what the key combo is on the PC, but on the PS3 it's: HOLD L2 to bring up the Equipment Menu, press Left direction key to select the Charger, then TAP R1 to charge it. Press Left again to deselect it so it gets off the damn screen.

On the PC, use w/e keys you need to:

1.) Bring up the Equipment Menu.
2.) Select the Charger.
3.) Tap various buttons until you see the needle move.

HOLDING F for a 2 seconds will bring up charger.
