Aha! No-one has asked this yet? Okay, so which weapon(s) did you like the most? Not necessarily the one you used the most, either.

Mine has to be the Hellsing, partly because of Van Helsing, the anime Hellsing, but also because it was practical and stylish. :) But the flamethrower was also epic.

i liked the vsv becasue im really int the silenced/stealth mode of play and it was a great gun for stealth. it was also like the only one with a laser sight so haha. the revolver cause it was affectice, my favorite one was with the longer barrel. I liked the ak cause the ak is my fav gun of all time and it fit great with the game, plus it was affective and fast. and the pneumatic weapons becasue they acted like snipers for me and if shot properly could kill with one shot :D

I like Revolver, cus it's actually mix of Kalash/Rifle and it has alot of attachments too..
Then Duplet, it's strongest than Automatic Shotgun, you can shoot 2 shells at one time and stuff :))

Yeah, I agree the shotguns should have been a lot more powerful, and the sights thing was a little of a hassle. But I guess automatic shotguns aren't really built for accuracy. :)

Did you see the Hellsing at the end of the 12-minute playthrough? Looks like they've added a wooden stock and made it a little smaller.

I voted for the AK and the Hellsing.

The AK; well, because it's an AK. Perfect in every way.

The Hellsing is the weapon I have the must fun using, and I find myself buying it in each play-through or when I repeat levels.
It's silent, uses retrievable ammo, and it looks cool. It seems incredibly practical for the Metro-universe and suits my play-style perfectly.

The knife and throwing knives were my favourites, but I don't use them all that much when playing on Ranger Hardcore, as the lack of a crosshair makes the throwing knives a little more difficult to use on moving targets, and so increases the risk of being discovered.

The weapon I use the most is without doubt the Hellsing. It's silent (and plausibly so, being pneumatic) and does a helluva lot of damage to librarians and armoured humans - not to mention the projectiles are re-usable. I prefer not to fit a stock or suppressor to the revolver, and instead keep it as a sidearm; both due to the fact that silencers fitted to ballistic weapons are a joke, and because I like to play with the idea that I actually have to be able to carry all the weapons I use, and carrying a revolver with a stock means I'd be effectively carrying three rifles - yeah right.

The hellsing was definately one of the coolest guns around. And the revolver was just fantastic. And a revolver shotgun... with a bayonette? Wonderful! Each weapon was great at its thing.

But I have a soft spot for the Bastard with silencer. It just feels so cool, and reminds me of the Sten used in WWII games.

I voted for the AK because I think it's the best-looking AK I've ever seen in a game.
And the VSV because I like it's shooting animation, where the entire weapons is shaking and the fact that it is silent.

Why isn't it just an 74? Anything on it that makes it an AK74M? The AK74M seems to be black on most occasions, but I guess the camo might have covered that up.

Yeah those are difficult to use!

I think what you use depends on what difficulty your playing on. If your on Ranger hardcore, ammo is more scarce, so youre gonna go stealth. But if your on normal or something, you have the resources to go rambo. Just my take.

My favorite weapons in the game are the throwing knives. I play without a crosshair and I've mastered using them without the crosshair. It's very satisfying to nail someone in the side of the face with a knife with no crosshair on.

I think the Ak is animation wise a 47, it just seams alot more powerful than the 74 would seam. would be best if they had both though.

But the Revolver is awesome, I just like Revolvers, and that it was based off a Nagant Revolver is plain awesomeness
The Pneumatic rifle was awesome too, loved how real it felt, and how crappy it was in firefights, made it feel so Scrap made/home made!

Yea, the Duplet was awesome fun, loved using it along with Bastard and Tihar with the first Bandit bits.

Felt so Real with that, just shooting off into the room :D

Also, Ak74M's are only made in black from what I know, before the 74m we had what some people call the Ak74P (First models with Polymer Grips, normally in Plum colour) and just the Ak74's

And whats with the Kalash 2012, now we do have a Ak.12, (Ak2012) in RL, haha!

I have a sick video of me taking out two Nazis with throwing knives without a crosshair, up close and personal - but I filmed it on my phone so in the video file the video is sideways. Wish there was a way to rotate it and save it as a new file... it is a sick kill, didn't alarm the other Nazis in the area either.

my favourite is the revolver, long barrel with stock and optics, and silencer if I'm on the stealth run. then would be the kalash 2012, basically the VSV with a larger magazine and either the volt driver or the auto shotgun.

It would have to be the AK-47 with a scope attachment and the automatic shotgun w/ bayonet attachement. Yes, I friggin' loved the VSV when I played the first two times, and the Kalash 2012 later in the game (though it consumed ammo like a mother), but when I did it on Ranger Mode Hardcore, the rate of fire and heavy punch of the AK's rounds helped me deal with multiple enemies effectively.

The shotgun ruled. It was awesome for taking down Librarians in six shots or less (Nothing else seemed effective! Even sticky grenades failed me!). I also loved it's bayonet attachment. Nothing is more sweet than knocking a Nazi Ranger on his ass with a 12-gauge shell before shoving a bayonet through his head. Absolutely beautiful. Even without the bayonet, though, the shotgun ruled. I also liked it's look; homemade, worn, with a weird but awesome recoil spring wrapped around the stock. :3

Shotguns were really underpowered in 2033 and I really hope in last light they amp them up. Cool to see a single-shot 1-handed shotgun pistol in Last Light:pop2:.

I voted for shotguns because while I still do like stealth play I find my mistakes lead to me using it and 2 shells are rather useful when applied to the head.
